The famous American artist Eyvind Earle was born on April 26, 1916 and lived until 20 July 2000. He was not only an artist but also a writer and illustrator. Award winning his contribution to the illustration of the Disney animated film in 1950. Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Rahr-West Art Museum, Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona State University Art Museum acquired his work for their permanent collections of artists of the 20th century.
